The weather outside is frightful – but a pair of long johns will make it delightful!
Purchase some lovely organic and non-itchy woolen and silk goods from Wool Star and 10% of your purchase cost will be donated to Girls Rock Camp Victoria! Funds raised from this donation program will support the operation of our very first camp in the summer of 2014.
Wool Star is based in the lovely Cowichan Valley and operated by Sheila and Richard Badman who import the Swiss-made goods right here to Vancouver Island. You can read more about the Badman family, including their first-hand experience with Wool Star products, on their About Us page. Goods for the whole family include long johns, tank tops, long sleeved shirts, and children’s onesies.
When you make your online purchase, denote GIRLSROCK on your order to donate 10% of your purchase cost to GRCVI. Then enjoy the warm and fuzzy feeling you’ll have inside and out with your cosy long johns, knowing that you’re also supporting a local business and Girls Rock Camp Victoria!
GRCVI is a local non-profit society that is 100% volunteer-run. Other donation programs and opportunities to support GRCVI can be found on our Donate page.
